Description
An AI-powered mobile gardening companion where plants are animated characters with evolving personalities. Users raise multiple species, manage real-world Mapbox gardens, receive proactive care nudges, and visit public gardens from other users—blending gamification with Gemini-driven conversations.
My Role
As sole developer, I:
- Built animated plant characters with mood-based expressions and growth stages using React Native Reanimated
- Integrated Mapbox for real-world garden placement, radius settings, and public garden discovery
- Implemented Gemini AI with species-aware, context-rich personality conversations and child-safe filters
- Designed a deterministic care simulation engine with streaks, native notifications, and Supabase RLS auth
