Description
An AI agronomist for Pakistani wheat farmers. The Expo mobile app lets farmers photograph crops for disease diagnosis, ask yield and planning questions by voice or text in Urdu and English, map farm profiles, and review past diagnoses—powered by a Cloud Run backend with Gemini and Chirp speech recognition.
My Role
As creator and engineer, I:
- Built a cross-platform mobile app with camera, voice, chat, map, and history flows for field use
- Deployed an Express API on Google Cloud Run with Vertex AI Gemini and Speech-to-Text v2 (Chirp)
- Designed farm profile, diagnosis, and conversation endpoints with MongoDB Atlas persistence
- Prepared Play Store release with EAS build pipelines and production health checks
